Take 30 credits a year to graduate in four years

Winter session helps you stay on track to graduate on time, especially if you can’t take 15 credits during the spring and fall semesters. Most winter session courses meet degree requirements or are general education (GEP) courses required for all majors.

Registration clearance is not required for winter session. Advising is recommended, but not required.

Use myUMBC to register for up to 4.5 credits. If you would like to take more than 4.5 credits, submit an Excess Credit Permission Form to the Office of Academic and Pre-Professional Advising for review.
